I keep watching the ads. And then it tells me I watched the ad already and cant get my 5 respect points.

I think you’ll find there is a delay, not sure how much, but you get the points. I thought the same thing but, looked at my point, watched the as, and didn’t spend anything until my 24 hours cycled and...when I went back...the points were there. Again, I think just a little lag until the cycle credits you.
