Mob lvl before lvl 15?

Should I try to have a certain amount of mobs before I reach level 15? I've been playing about a week or two and only have 300 mob members.

It’s recommended to stay under 15 as long as you could and focus on mob. You lose Don protection after that and anyone can just attack you freely. But you still will have some protection until 50
