Sometimes when i attack some one i will gain experience and then sometimes i don’t. Any reason for this?

And how can i lose a fight to some one who has less than half of the amount of mob members as i do?

The more evenly matched you and your opponent are, the more xp you get. But you can only get xp from the same person 8 or so times in a 24 hour period.

As for your second question, there are multiple factors to consider such as how well your mob is armed, how well your opponent is armed, and are they a low level and have don protection.
