Turf hop is when you use the airport and go claim turfs somewhere else

To hop: place a turf at the edge of your green build radius; then upgrade the turf, to create another build radius; then place a turf at the edge of that build radius, keeping in the same general direction.
Basically, just build turf repeatedly, moving towards a place.🐇👉😵
