Bazooka doesn’t auto equip?

I got 5 bazookas as loot and I thought they would automatically be equipped with their having 40 attack damage. They’re just unused in my inventory when they have better attack than anything else. How do I make them equipped?

Bazooka only equips when attacking turf. You can read all about it under "loot" in the "get help" files.
