Does a torn down turf destroy loot?

If I tear down a turf with loot boosting the influence, does the loot turn to cash or stay as loot and go to my inventory?

You do get the money for it, but it’s hardly worth it. That’s one way I do a final check to make sure I’m not tearing down a looted turf. If it says you’re getting more than $1.7mil for that turf then you’ve got something extra on it.
