Temp codes vs. Normal codes

What is better punch, temps or normal codes? I am unsure, as the other day I sat down for a bit and maybe went through 200 codes, 150 at the least and didn't get many actual mob members despite this. Am I doing something wrong, or is this normal?

What are temp codes? Every new player is issued a temporary code (in the format -123-456) A random selection of temp codes are released to the websites. It's a way for new players to start getting mob right away and hopefully encourage them to stick around. Temp codes are only valid for one week. Sometimes they aren't released to the websites until days, hours, or even minutes before they're about to expire. A lot of new players will play long enough to accept invites from temp codes, but they never advertise their regular code. That's why I feel that they're the most important.

So, any idea on the first part, Dunn? Thanks for the response though.

Always punch temp codes first since the code will expire but the invite will remain until the other person accepts it. After you're done punching temps you should punch the regular codes.
