Does capturing turfs increase your turf limit?

So if you've built your Max amount of turfs, does capturing more turfs increase your limit? I want to know so that I can decide whether or notto tear down a heavily taxed turf

Captured turfs add on to your total.

Captured turf do not increase your limit. You increase your limit either by levelling up, or buying them from the don
