You don't have to pay any police protection for any turf you have in that area.

That's not true. I'm capo in both areas I'm in and only have turf in those areas and I still have to pay...

You don't have to pay in-game $ for local police protection, if you're capo.
You still have to use 5 Respect Points or a Consiglieri to get Global police protection. It could be seen as "paying" Respect Points, maybe?🤷‍♂️ Just guessing.👉😵
