whenever i punch in a code and the player accepts, will they directly be considered in my mob, or do they have to add my code as well. Thanks in advance.

You're both wrong.
When you punch in a code, it sends a mob invite to the player whose code you entered. Until they tap "Accept Invite", you won't be in each other's mob.
