So for pretty much the last year I have been trying to get to a certain place in Canada using the leaping method (I live in Cali and have no way to get there in real life).

Now according to Google maps, there are roads (for 4-wheeling I'm guessing) leading to the area I want to claim. However, the game tells me the roads I'm clearly taping on don't exist. Anyone know how I can get to where I'm going?

On iOS, you go to Settings>Turf Wars>Switch Geocoder.

Ok, it helped momentarily, however, no matter which coder I use, it still tells me I need to build near a road or highway, despite taping on a road.

Just keep switching back and forth. If you can't plant in an area on either of the geocoders on your phone, despite there being roads on the map, it's a dead zone.

I think I found the place you're talking about. It should be hoppable when the new geocoder is released.

Well it had seemed that the new geocoder was working, but now even it won't let me get where I am going. I don't suppose the head honcho can look into why it says it's a dead zone despite the game map, Google and Apple map all saying there are roads leading to where I want to go.

That's just how it is.😕
Keep switching geocoders. If you eventually can't go further on any geocoder, check for valid spots further ahead, & use a police map - or look for a route around the invalid area, on other roads.
I haven't looked where you are - this is just general advice. I just finished a hop from Mexico City to south Panama, & had to use all of these methods. Good luck.👍🙂
