How does the game decide how much exp u get off fighting someone it just seems to be completely random I don't get it..? Also why can I beat somebody a few times in a row then it decides to tell me I've lost a couple of times then winning again?? It doesn't make sense?

Some times the don helps out if you are attacking someone much weaker than you.

The closer your attack rating is to their defense, the higher exp you get. There's also a random factor which can effect your winning or losing against someone with similar ratings to you.
