so I have a turf near me that is already at 0, but I cant cap it. is it because he has a bigger mob?

Probably. You have to be able to win 1 time after the turfs health is at zero.

Most likely need to habe a larger mob then him! You need to be able to out power his defense, so a larger mob is always more handy :)

Technically you don't need a larger mob, but it's recommended because you need to win fights towards the player in order to capture it.
Look at the capture section in the Help portion on Home. It should provide the information you need.
