Can you use the police maps to hop the channel?

In the US, we're now able to hop long bridges, wide rivers, and some islands. These were all unhoppable before, just curious if you guys could make it to the mainland now.

Is water hopping frowned on? Thought it was water turf thst wasnt allowed?

You can hop over water, you can't have turf "off shore."

Don't think Antibes tried yet... Is it realy water hopping if you do it in one. I know nick had issues with water turfs but I don't see how this is the same. Would be good to know

I think, as long as the geocoder allows the turf to be placed, you're in the clear.

Think in real life terms (I know this game isn't real life but it's based on real life obviously);

Imagine each turf has a big headquarters building in the middle. It's fine on land and has easy access to resources in cities and main roads. However, you can't build a big building on water can you? How is anybody gonna be able to sustain a business if there is no main road nearby?

I think that's why there is no water hopping and that the Geocoder is in place.

Yeah I agree with that, but would that make it wrong to hop some large body of water like the channel IF you could do it in one? I don't see why not

The channel is too wide. Pity you can't pop turfs on the ferry routes though.

You can always try feedback. It depends on the location of the individual turf. When I asked, I was told that any turf currently allowed by the geocoder on water (usually just offshore or near a bridge, etc. because of the street/highway requirement) is permissible.

U can not hop the channel tunnel. Geocoder does not allow this.

We are not! If u go on holiday in France and u use someones wifi by standing in a row of houses! U then just build turfs from
there! And France has no TW players in it so it's ripe for the taking! 😜
