Why do some of my turds have to pay police bribes and other's dont? What determines if u have to pay?

All your turf should either be paying, or not paying, because they're all in the same city. If you purchase from the Don, none pay. If you purchase from the link on the missions page, the cities you purchase don't pay. If you're capo of that city, you don't pay. I think you are impatient and didn't wait 10 minutes for new turf to update before you asked. This game isn't instant in many aspects.

I imagine some of your turds are small enough the police don't notice them ;) do the big ones hurt coming out?
