How is the experience calculated?

I'm fighting players to level up. But it seems random. As I can get 6 exp per fight when attacking someone with 1k mob, whereas attacking a mob of 6-9k I get around 1-2 exp?

Does the exp go off their player level? Or something else?

No because you can attack someone one time that you've never attacked before and still not get xp

Okay. I just know that when you attack someone that the exp goes down slowly then to 0 per attack.
