It helps you protect yourself.. You're a wise guy, you needa pack some heat my friend.. What weapons? Well start off with galesi pistols that piece woudnt hurt a pinch but its gonna hurt real bad when you give it to everybody in your crew(buy melee, guns and armor that is exact the same number with the mob number you have). Also you need to go on with the big guns when someone who has a bigger crew than yours would hit your mattresses.
