How exactly is "crowdedness" of the area determined? By my expirience it's the areas closer to the city center. Is that it?

The only reason city centres are more crowded is because thats where most people are which in turn means more people want to be there as more players=more income.

One more question. If I go to a desert and make a lot of turfs there will I get the benefit from making the area more crowded?

Heck no. Crowd = good cuz more ppm around u means more money.

No. It has to be crowded with a variety of players. If in that desert 10 others started building the average income would start to increase.
