Cant sell unwanted unequiped turf loot

I tried to sell some loot I got from a loot crate but it wouldnt let me. Id press the sell button but nothing would happen. Any advice?

I need the money. Its not like I wont buy more loot crates

Its a level 60. Im 13 and I can sell it for 2 mill. That can put me at a huge advantage for my level

Probably can't sell it, because you aren't at a level that you can use it yet. You'll want it in a few levels because when you put it on you will get more money off of the turf.

Hmmm, I just tried to sell unused turf loot and it's not possible. The sell button doesn't do anything. Has it always been like that and no one noticed until now?

Equip it to a turf and tear the turf down.
