Don defense bonus

When does this bonus end I am in an area were I can get other players turfs , because they are level 15+. But every time I attack their turf I get this message. "Eyy leave this punk alone we will have plenty of time to snuff him out." When will this bonus stop I've waited more then 48 hours to get his turf.

The don protection wear out fully after lvl 50.
