What happens when I cap a turf

I'm the strongest player on my island and no one else is strong enough to cap one of my turfs. I basically wanna know what happens when u loose a turf. Can they remake it or do they loose that turf quota completely and are now 1 turf less until the dons gives em more??

If you lose turf then you can build again up to your turf limit. It's just a pain in the ass as it costs money to rebuild and some gave sentimental value.
