I'm thinking of joining an alliance, or at least looking around for one. I know my mob size isn't very big but I've gotten 200 members in a day. If anyone could point me to someone who wouldn't be wasting my time I would be most appreciative...

And what are the pros and cons of being in one?

Most alliances like you to have at Least 1500 mob so you can defend yourself and others so I would say concentrate on that then ask your local big players for ideas...
