Has anyone ever just captured turf to hop somewhere? I'm hopping a long distance and there is another mobsters turf right there also. I don't want to piss this guy off or capture his turf but was wondering if people do it.

Cap them and then hop away.

People who are over their turf limits do cap hop like you describe. It takes a long time to get anywhere. And often they have a partner who builds the trail for them.

You'd be a heck of a lot faster if you just hopped like normal. And if you wanna cap some random turf then tear it down afterwards so they don't weigh you down.

Great! Leave a few safety turfs behind as you progress. That way if you get capped someplace you can simply restart the hop from those and not lose too much time/effort👍🏻
