trouble signing back in

Yesterday afternoon, I was playing turf wars and I decided to yield to the apple nagging notification and update to the newest IOS beta.
Once I did, I went back to tw but, it wanted my username and password.So I decided that before I logged in to my account, I would help someone else who is also blind like I am by showing them turf wars.
I didn't realize that you can't just sign in and out like that, lol.
Now his account is on my Iphone but, I just want mine back instead.
I've been borrowing my wife's 4s just long enough to use my energy but, I'd like to log back in using my primary device.
I sent a ticket to support a day ago and I know they can take up to 48 hours to answer which is no problem!
Was that the correct thing to do or am I over looking a more obvious way to sign out?

Yes, that was the correct thing to do
