Where to Claim Turf?...
Forums › Help & Strategy › Where to Claim Turf?...-
Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but what should my main strategy be for the way I set up turf? By this I mean should I spread out and go for a bunch of small town capos? Should I go to be a capo of one big city? Or should I just not try to get capo whatsoever?... What should I do...?

It's not a stupid question. You should try to spread out as much as possible. Don't worry about capos, they can make you a target. With your turf limit, your goal should be to find good income areas. Look for multiple inactives you can tax at one time - especially if you can find a clump of inactives. Clumps can earn you good money. Loot can make you a target too though, so spread your loot out. Don't make any really high inf turfs unless everyone around you is inactive or an ally.

Good advice

There are no stupid question, all questions lead to enlightenment.

Im very new and have a bunch of questions.
1) Does being a capo give you bonus points other than bragging rights?
2) Can you take over an area and become the capo?
3) How do you know if another player in your area is inactive?
4) If I find a "clump" of turf of another player, do I just need to make my turf hve more influence then there's?

2) Of course
4) Yes, it has to be covering atleast half of the turf -

A) Pm'ing the player & asking
B) Checking the player's turf list, especially near the bottom. If the player hasn't planted or capped a turf in the last month, consider them inactive. If your goal is to tax a player, and he seems borderline inactive (such as he planted a turf 5 or 6 weeks ago), I would use both A & B (especially if the player has more mob than you). Give them at least 2 days to respond to your pm.

Question here?
How do one go about claiming turf in another state that they are not in. Or do one has to have turf on a international airport in order to do so?

You can fly with the in game airports or hop

Adding onto the comment about turf loot... Don't even bother using them until your mob is at least like 2000 deep. Even then, it's basically not worth it. You are fresh meat to high caliber players. They have a wicked sense for newbies with triple digit influence turf. Your hard earned loot is as good as gone.

I know 86 influence clumps can be tempting but you can still find sub 86 clumps if you keep looking
