AR-15 Assault Rifles loot?

I coups really use some help. Since level 40, I've been doing the "Crack a Bank" mission to get AR-15 loot.
Right now I am level 68 and I still have to get said rifles.

Can I only get them from the Don or something?

You can in loot crates, but they are not worth the don points.
