Weird mapping?

Is there any way to find out where one area ends and another begins? Ive been trying to make new turf somewhere, but it keeps marking it as a different area, although someone else's turf right next to where im trying to build is labeled to be of the other area...

Any help and tips is also appreciated!

The map changes over time because of revisions. Some places no longer exist on the map. Turf have the names of locations based on the map revision at the time it was created.
