PURPOSE: To aid new and moderate players in defending their city or turf from really powerful 6 digit influence players.
WHY THIS MATTERS: Many new or moderate players that are active get harassed and have their turf captured by really strong players constantly. Not only that, but they will see their city taken over by power hungry mobsters who want to capture EVERYTHING. The main problem is that these monsters don't know what to do.
WHAT THIS THREAD IS ABOUT: Im not a really powerful player as anyone can see but this thread is for veteran players with experience to quickly comment and give advice to new players about how to defend their turf and their city. Anything will be appreciated, so please comment if you are a veteran player. Many people quit the game because they don't know what to do in these situations.

Where to start with this? Wow. So large influence does not effect ones strength. This game is all based in your mob size. If you are truly being harassed by a bigger mobster I would be more surprised if there wasn't a handful or so of mobsters in your area that would be more then happy to come to your aid. Any vet of the game knows that there is no true advantage to wiping out a city or area as it kills the income on turfs for said area.

I'm sorry you don't feel like a powerful mobster. I feel that this game needs players of all mob size such as in business big business needs little business and vide versa. Why you and others worry about your home town or city puzzles me? Sure it's nice to have turf in your area cause it's familiar to you, but it is also the place where you can easily build turf my advice is to place more turf in the areas that you travel to and outside of your comfort zone.

The easiest way to defend your turf to your best ability is to spread your turf out as best you can and fully arm your mob properly. I also disagree that players are quitting because they are un sure of what to do in these situations.
