Turf disappears when I capture it?

When ever I capture turf from this one guy it disappears. Ik I captured it bc it says captured on the attack screen then when I go to the turf info it says there is no such turf. Please help me

Because you're targeting him in a vendetta, the turf is destroyed not captured

Canine is right. Turfs are destroyed during vendettas.
