Why is my income going down when no one attacked me? Am I missing something?

Maybe you are paying police protection or being taxed.

Or maybe a player left the area or was capped out. If this lowered the amount of players in that area to less than 10, your base income would be lower.

Ok I think it might be the cops in each turf, I think that might be the problem like roger that said. Thanks guys

Why am I automatically paying someone for protection?

When a player has a turf with a larger influence that covers 50% or more of your turf, you will pay (taxes) protection money to that player.
