A guy has one turf at 39inf and I have one next to it at 86inf how's he still capo?

He may have more than 1 turf, which means he can have higher influence than you.

Ok, so if you look at the locations of your turfs, yours is listed as being in Glasgow, and Xavier's is listed as Neitherplace. So the game is considering you in a different town.

Try this: if you're on an iPhone then open up your Settings and find Turf Wars. You should see a switch saying "Use Google Geocoder". Turn that on and plant another turf right next to that guy. Should show up as the town you want. Boost it to 40+ inf and that capo is yours.

There is a way to switch the Geocoder in android too. Similar to iPhone I imagine but not familiar with specifics
