Once the player accepts your invite, they are there unless they leave your mob, you remove them from your mob, or they reset. There is no such thing as a mob member that only lasts for a week.

You can also find this info at www.turfwarswiki.com. Click on Reference. Click on Codes.

This may be a stupid question but turfwarsdb.com is mentioned a lot so I was wondering if someone could explain what seems to be a filter or search after you click 'get codes'... maybe break it down for me/us what is '% = wild' etc.
Is there a way to pull only the codes with no numbers and then after one has punched all of those they can go back to the numbered ones etc.
begin date and end date? does that filter when the players joined or when the codes were submitted... I apologize if this is a stupid request.
-
@MrNiceGuy - If you want all codes starting with "S," then you'd type "S%."
There isn't a way to get codes without any numbers.
Begin & end date is when the codes were submitted. It doesn't keep track of when a player started TW.
My thread listing the different code sites has a link to a tutorial for TWDB.

Punch all the codes you can, even if you can't afford to equip all of your mob right away. DO NOT "HOLD BACK" ON PUNCHING CODES! It is better to have unequipped mob, then weapons you can't use because you ran out of people to invite!
Remember, you can also use weapons that don't require upkeep!

Code FAQs:
1) You can only punch 1 code at a time.
2) You can only enter codes on your iDevice (you CANNOT use a computer).
3) You can use a Bluetooth keyboard. -

I still don't understand the need for temp codes. Why doesn't Nick just feed regular codes into the code sites? I see no logical reason for a separate temporary code. It only seems to promote quick code punching. Players who play two days and quit will do so regardless.

Is there a pattern/reason to determine who doesn't get one? Besides, with all the power punchers obviously logging in often for codes, wouldn't they already have the new player codes to punch if Nick just send all codes to the site? It seems there's 50 ways to meet your goal and temp codes just don't seem necessary. They seem more confusing than helpful.

Since people are asking, you can buy a custom invite code from The Don.
-
Recently there has been confirmation that invites can expire. There is no set time period for when this happens.
-
"mystery" you posted a comment telling me to add a list or people. I don't know how. Can u explain please?

Post your code in the invite forum. Bookmark it in safari & bump it often. Then pick a website (I like turfwarsdb.com) and start punching codes. For regular codes you might want to start with the newest & work backwards. For temp codes, start with the ones that are about to expire & work backwards. What is a good way for me 2 get started

So THAT'S why 200 random people added me in under 2 hours. Thanks, Mystery!

Some people find that using a Bluetooth keyboard makes punching codes easier/faster.

Mystery thanks for all your help

This should be a sticky at the top.

Regarding temp codes: Only the code is temporary, NOT the player. If the player accepts your invites, they remain in your mob, even after their temp code expires!
-
You can only enter 1 code at a time!
-
Invites do expire after a certain period of time. Most likely only invites that haven't been accepted after x number of days will expire.
Approximate Past Invite Expiration Days:
10/11/11
3/31/12 -
When punching codes:
1) Punch temp codes first, starting with the ones closest to expiring.
2) Punch the most recent regular codes and work backwards. Both ICM & TWDB have options to allow you to display the most recent new codes first.

What happens to old custom codes?
