I have lapua rifles but, i see others with tommy guns and even people with both...
Just wondering what is the best to use.

It depends on your needs. By now you should know basically how your mob interacts with your equipment. Look on the market screen to see the different attack and defense ratings of the individual items. You also see your own attack and defense rating on this screen. Every person has their own set of stats on their own market page. The equipment you own is merely a multiplier of your mob that makes up your total attack and defense rating.

When you attack someone else, your attack rating is compared to their defense. It is not an exact comparison, as you will get mixed wins and losses if you are within a certain % range of their mob and it can be further complicated by other factors.

Multiply your mob by the items you mentioned:

Tommy gun:
25,416 attack
12,708 defense

Lapua rifle:
21,180 attack
18,003 defense

Tommy + lapua:
25,416 attack
18,003 defense

Then you also have to consider armor and melee weapons.

Lapuas are the defense standard. Mini guns are economy defense. Tommy guns are best offense. Rocket launchers are a joke. If you can get away with it, use non upkeep weapons and pocket the extra cash.
