need help with capturing turfs

Hey im just asking to get a few things cleared up as im confused on them.

1) Im attacking this guy named Joseph Garand in view royal Victoria B.C now he only has 647 inf 19 mob and 11 turfs now im trying to capture his turfs and it will let me win 1 battle but after that i attack him another 22 times or so and they all fail now my stats are as follows lvl 51 with 1508 inf and 24 turfs and over 400 mob now i have turfs in his area and close enough to capture and they are older then 24h but i dont get it i just cant capture his turfs.

now another thing id like to ask is are there any guides that are more indepth thabout capturing then the ones on this forum?

I took a look and the only thing I can think of is the he's only a level 26. Since your at level 51 he may be protected by the Don from you. You may have to wait till he hits level 30. I'm not sure what else it could be.

I believe it's is bacuse your to high a level

See thats what i was thinking, I think Nick needs to make a thread on capturing turfs an exact way of doing so for capturing turfs and the requirements.

Cause this is just lame!

When vendetta mode is released it looks like it will come with another new feature, capture check lists.

Currently in the vendetta beta there's a list below the attack button that tells if you can capture or why you can't.

The list is also the same as the howto but specific to each turf. But there isn't anything more to capturing then what's in the howto. It's very simple.

Could you explain to me then why i cant capture this dudes turfs? Even tho i meet all the requirements....?

What turf are you trying to capture of his and what turf of yours is closest?

im trying to take over Highway X Beta and VR-Proper there both located in view royal area and my closest are all named 187 Crips..... i still dont get it i attacked it today a total of 22 times and i won once and after that i kept loosing...

Looks like distance is the issue. At least for VR Proper.
