Unused Weapons

Why do I always have unused weapons? I have a mob of 390 and my used weapon count is only half that, even including armour.

You only have about 90 weapons and 30 kevlar. Which means when you fight you only use 90 mob and 30 of those mob use Kevlar as well as a weapon. You need more weapons and armour.

Thanks James, I know I need more weapons and armour, but that's why I'm confused about having 'unused combat items' at the bottom of my inventory page. I don't see these particular weapons in the market, so maybe I picked them up as loot and I'm not yet at a high enough level to use them? Is that possible?

That's possible. I don't think you are normally able to get tommys at level 14. Can you see what the other weapons are?

Yeah, one of them is a minigun, which I can now see in the market although it's still not available to me. Another was a glock 31, which I can also see in the market now, but appears to be totally unavailable to buy, like the riot shield and chainsaw that I definitely got from loot.
So I guess that answers that!
