I am confused about how temp codes work and what is their purpose? I entered a couple and got a random person invited. Does that mean the invite is temporary or what?

It's a temporary code for new players to give them a boost at getting mob invites

Thank you. Do we know how long after you entered a temp code is the player removed from your mob? Why would a new player want to enter temp codes instead of regular code? Is it because these codes are automatically accepted?

Its the same as entering a normal code you keep that mob. The temp code is just to help newer players get added quickly so when you add a temp code your adding a player that's new to TW.

Thanks for that answer...I was confused because I was literally translating from English.
I thought it meant the code was added for a short time to your mob as opposed to that code being valid for a short time only.
