How do I do this? I can see where I can reset my mobster ... Not quite what I was after ...

If you're in the negative there should be a button on your home screen to reset your debt. Only shows if you're in debt and don't have money in the bank I believe....

Really? How many times can you press it? So I can keep full upkeep for war and go negative than after wipe my debt and collect money for building turf till next fight? Unless I am missing something I don't like it.

No button, but I eventually got into positive income. Going to take a while .... I got hit a bit during the outage, was after a little help.

I've only heard of it appearing when players log back in after being inactive for awhile (I don't know how long is required).
When a player opens the app after being inactive for whatever time period, there's a black box that gives them the option to reset their debt. So, no, you can't just go negative in war & get rid of it by pressing a button if you stay active.

Would said button go away if you chose to get out of the hole on your own? If not, one could successfully climb out and still have that lifeline.

I believe it goes away if you don't choose to click on it when you first open the app again.
