Thanks for the fast reply.

Just hit the Cancel button in the Game Center window that pops up – after the 3rd time it shouldn't show up anymore (according to Apple's developer docs). If it's still showing up after several times, please send us a message via Feedback and we'll look into it!

If you're already logged into Game Center you'll always see the "Welcome Back" message. You'll only see the Cancel option if you aren't currently logged into Game Center (a Game Center login window will pop up if you aren't logged in).

I've gotten about five notifications between two different screens now. I hope that's the end of it. GameCenter is the devil.

I just did this:

I clicked the GameCenter button and it told me I had to log in through the app. I closed the notification and then got a notification shortly afterwards about logging in. I'll repost if I get more notifications.

I prefer the enable/disable rocker.

Thanks Mystery, I still don't know what dismiss means, I've cussed, yelled, insulted, and even assaulted the game center and it still won't dismiss itself from my presence. I can't even figure how to log out of gamecenter through gamecenter. I'm going to go cuss some more at it.

I went into the game center app and I think it was profile then logout. Turf wars then prompted me if I would like to log in, you hit dismiss. Close turf wars and delete it out of multitask bar and dismiss and repeat! I'm afraid to log back in and try again lol

Damn it I've done that twice and it won't go away. I HATE Game Center and my phone isn't jail broken so I can't get rid of it.

With a little more research this seems to be an apple problem not a turf wars problem.

My feeling is Apple should let us have the choice if we want the Game Center or not! We should able to delete if we don't want it, just like a regular app

Anyone ever get this figured out? I go into Game Center, log out, open and close turf wars 3 times and it tells me Game Center is disabled. But as soon as I do anything in the App Store that requires my password it logs me back in to Game Center and I get to start all over again. Very frustrating!

I am still getting notifications without GameCenter on my phone at all. This change should really be reverted.

If all you want is the alerts to go away you can do so in the notifications area of the settings. If you haven't already tried it.

I've upgraded to a new iphone and cannot seem to find any option in settings, either through game center or turf wars, to rurn off/ disable this irratating app.
