On invite code matrix what are the boxes at the left of the code and what does it mean when you tick them

Means you typed it in so you know which ones you've already punched.

You can check them for each code you type in, or as I do I just check one to mark where I left off so when new codes come in, I enter everything above my last checkmark. You need to sort by date entered to do that, though.
