Attack/Defense ratio

• Just a quick technical question for the more experienced: Is my assumption correct that a player whose combined Attack points exceed the combined Defense points of the attacked player (for each choosing the weapons with the highest defense or attack characteristics) should technically win a fight? Or are there any other parameters to be considered?
E.g. if Player A has 5000 Lapua and 5000 Body Armors (which would amount to 110'000 AP), he would win an attack against a player having 4000 Tommy Guns and 4000 Body armors (which would amount to 108'000 DP)?

It isn't strictly numbers, there is a random factor when the numbers are close.

Think of it this way, the more your AP is that the other player's DP, the MORE LIKELY it is that you'll win a battle.
