Back before my (your) capo days we paid for police protection. Also while doing missions there was a police risk. Highest I ever saw this risk get was slammer time, but nothing ever happened.

My question is, if you don't pay off police does something happen to you while doing jobs if the risk exceeds a level?

Maybe the higher you were wanted the more money police protection cost?

I have yet to pay for police protection and nothing ever happened to me. I've done ransom 6 times since it's hit elite. maybe I'm pressing my luck, but until I get busted I'm not paying for protection

Pretty soon we're going to implement "busting" when you run riskier missions.
