I have an account on my iPod and an account on my ipad, how can I sign out of my iPod account so I can have the same account on both devices?

You are only allowed to have 1 account per device. Switching your account back and forth between devices is against the term of service.

But Im not going to use it ever again am I? Ill delete all turfs etc.

You can send feedback to nick. Tell him you want completely remove the account from your iPod (let's call it account A.) Then tell him you want to move your iPad account (let's call call it account B) to your iPod. This means that account A will be gone forever. Also, once you move account B to your iPod, you can never play it again on your iPad. Each account can only be tied to 1 device. Trying to switch the account back & forth all the time would mean 1 account would be tied to 2 devices. This is against the TOS & can result in a permanent ban.
