I've been trying to capture some turf off of a nearby, what appears to be inactive, player. So far I've taken 4 which I know is the limit, then to take capo I started attacking his turf to bring the influence down. At one point the don began to assist the player during fights, and has been assisting for the past 2 days straight. How long do I have to wait or what do I have to do for the assistance to stop? I haven't been able to capture any more in the past 2 days.

Anyone else had this happen to them in the past?

Bump, this is really annoying. 3 days now and everytime I try to attack the don gives assistance to the player. How long do I have to wait / what do I have to do to make this go away?

Did you level up recently? It might have put you over the line.

What do you mean over the line? I have leveled up after having hit the don assistance issue and it's still there.

Your level is the main stat looked at by the don, so it might have been okay before but now you're bigger so the don steps in

There's different messages though. For lower levels / weak it's different to what I'm getting now. I had it happen again on a separate invasion site but this time I waited rather than chain attacking. After I hit don assistance to the point where I lost, I stopped capturing. Then, 24 hours later I tried again and I won this time, but only won 1 fight before it went back to me losing. I'm starting to think somesort of daily limit is in place for attacking turf. I know u can't capture more than four, but perhaps u can't attack more than a certain amount of times either? (turf that is).

Try this, after the don steps in attack the player directly to see if he still helps.

Yep, still assisting even through direct attacks.
