When does the don not help in a fight?

Is there a certain lvl? Like if I get lvl 80 and attack a lvl5, will the don step in to help?

I believe don helps for folks lvl25 and under. It may scale but I don't spend time fighting noobs so I dunno answer. Thuglife would tho.

No I'm asking cuz my bro, he's a lvl 5, he attacked a lvl 84, and the don didn't help him.

It only works if a high level attacks a small level, not the other way around.
