More turfs differet places?

This is my second day playisng and kinda cool so far. One question is i tho that you can claim turf whereever you phone is? I going on vaca and would like to claim turf there...is this possible? Thanks

I thought this was true as well, I went about 20 minutes from the majority of my turfs and tried to use one, it said I was to far from me or any of my turfs.. Gps error?

What devices are y'all using? Is this a wifi problem, 3G, or both?

If you are using 4.0 with multiple-task then try double closing the app. Close regular then double tap the bottom control button so the folder opens to show running apps. Close TW there as well.
Then when you reopen it should register the current location. At least it's worked for me.
