Need clarification on something. So the bigger your influence then the farther you can capture from right and if you are unable to capture from lack of targets the only way to expand would be to buy pts and get more turfs yes?

It's a GPS game, so u can try walking, driving, flying to any land area on this planet with a street nearby and plant turf, with the aim of being closer to other turfs u may have interest to capture.

That is not even close to what I'm asking. I understand how to place turfs. I was curious about the best way to expand when you are much bigger than your level's max turf.

Your inf. does not affect capture range. If you want to increase your turf limit, snatch a lot of purses or buy some points.

Your influence does affect capture range. But only works against you. The more influence you have the bigger YOUR capture range is, as in, other people can capture your turfs from farther away than normal.

Example. Your inf. is 50,000. Another player that is stronger than you and just out of your range has an influence of 15,000. They can capture your turfs even though you can't reach theirs. This means when you're bigger, you're a bigger target.

That rule affects the 1 inf turf protection as well. As I understand it, when you have a low influence, if your turf is at only 1 inf. then your turfs capture radius is so small it's impossible to be captured. But if you have a higher influence, the 1 inf. capture radius becomes large enough others can capture it.

@darksilverwolfe: yes. If you can capture turfs nearby and are over your turf limit, the only way to expand is to continue leveling up and receiving turf limit increases, or use/buy respect points to increase your limit "artificially". Or tear down turfs, and then lay a couple near large groups of other turfs.
