I wa wondering some of the pros and cons of turfing in places were there is no one for miles of were you are at.
And I was also wondering the pros and cons of places that are as hot as chernoble with activity.

If no one is around you will get less income, I'd say airport is a warzone expect to be cap..

What you want is to build In an area where there's a decent amount of people, not to crowded Test plant a turf if the starting income is at 8.2k this is a good spot. In you area McDonough and Stockbridge is a good choice to hop.

If people in your area know what they are doing they wouldn't mind new comers to arrive to boost everyone's income

Main thing is to spread out. I live in London, UK - fairly crowded, although not as bad as (say) New York. My experience is that it is best to be around areas with decent income - but not to rely on any single one of them. Then you get the income without dying if someone goes on the rampage and levels you in some particular neighbourhood as a side-effect. So if I travel to any other decent sized town I lay turf and start another mini-colony.

If you put turf in a war zone pick a side and start fighting. It's fun and it keeps the game interesting.
