Google maps on PC has a ruler feature. I just use that.

I found an app called "distance pinner". Calculates distance between 2 or more points in map

I just use google maps and route from starting point to destination.

I use turf locations on the map as guide points to get rough estimates. Like yesterday I hopped roughly thirty miles.
