turf limit question

Ive bought enough respect to get to 71 turf limit. i captured 15. So my stats read 86/71. Then i level up and get my free extra turf. Stats show 86/72, but i couldnt build an extra turf. So if i bought more respect, would i have to increase my turf limit to 86 (14 purchases of increase) to
acutally build another turf?

Buying to 86 will still not let u build more. Only 87 or more...
