Attack score to cap turf?

What's the formula to work out if you can cap soneones turf? I've read you have to be 30% stronger but how is it applied exactly? Does my attack score have to be 30% higher than their defence score? If I'm attacking, does my defence figure or their attack figure come into play? Thanks

It's more of a rough estimate that your mob needs to be 30% larger than their mob. That statement alone doesn't take into account what your/your opponent's weapons/armor are, so it isn't entirely accurate.

No. It just has to be higher. If it's just barely higher, you probably will only win a fraction of the fights.

If I'm attacking, does my defence figure or their attack figure come into play?

Perfect. I can work out their def with a spreadsheet. When my attack is higher I'll strike! Thanks for your help

Even easier, go to mobcode.org and use the stat calculator there and it'll tell you right away. Easy as pie.

I just want to add that your attack doesn't actually have to be higher than their defense. It just has to be in a very close proximity to it. Mich like cw there is a significant random factor and as long as your attack is close to their defense eventually this random factor will rule in your favor giving you the turf

yeah I tried this but it adds up all their weapons and doesn't account for their mob size. Am I missing something?

how close does it have to be? If their def is 45k is a 40k attack close enough?

it should work. I believe my friend calculated it to around 87% needed. I've been meaning to make my own tests but findin g someone around me big enough to do good tests has gotten challenging.
